College football predictions for this weekend

9:00 PM ET Utah State at No. 20 Brigham Young - The Mormons vs. The Secular State School... sounds more like a court case than a football game... which the Cougars should win handlily.

12:00 PM ET No. 6 Virginia Tech at Duke - Hokie Hokie Hokie Hi... Tyrod should be ridin high.. they need to just play and not second guess... or you can wave goodbye to the BCS.

12:00 PM ET No. 22 Michigan at Michigan State - It is at MSU... but I'm thinking that Tate Forcier.. who won at Notre Dame... will be able to help lead the Wolverines by the Spartans in a game that might end up closer than people would like.

12:05 PM ET Arkansas State at No. 13 Iowa - Iowa doesnt do anything flashy.. they just punish you to death... which is what Ark St should have done to them by halftime of this one.

12:21 PM ET No. 3 Alabama at Kentucky - Last week Florida... this week Alabama... who in the freakin heck made this schedule for the Wildcats... the rider on the Pale Horse of the Apocalypse??

1:00 PM ET No. 10 Cincinnati at Miami (OH) - Bearcats will be purring thru this game.

3:30 PM ET No. 4 LSU at No. 18 Georgia - Ok... here is my pick for an upset. I think that Georgia.. if they play their A-game will actually defeat the Tigers in a close one. Cox is for real as a qb.

3:30 PM ET No. 15 Penn State at Illinois - If Illinois somehow wins this... then Zook has put Paterno on the hook.

3:30 PM ET Washington at Notre Dame - Ok... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Huskies get their second biggest win of the season under the rule of the SS and come away with a huge upset win and Charlie Weis with a huge upset stomach.

7:00 PM ET No. 9 Ohio State at Indiana - This will be a Buckeye Blowout.

7:00 PM ET No. 21 Mississippi at Vanderbilt - Ole Miss..... a team that needs it on reality show..... things dont have to get nuts for the Rebels.. they have one coaching them... literally.

7:30 PM ET No. 25 Georgia Tech at Mississippi State - If GT gets the option going right... it will be a long day for the Bulldogs.

7:45 PM ET Auburn at Tennessee - The UT faithful can probably expect the Vols to play hard... but also expect more first year blues as the orange and blue come in and get a W.

8:00 PM ET UC Davis at No. 5 Boise State - Broncos are holding their BCS berth in their hands the rest of the way.

8:00 PM ET No. 7 USC at No. 24 California - I'm expecting this to be a USC rarity in conference play.... a second PAC-10 loss. I'm picking California in an upset.

8:00 PM ET No. 8 Oklahoma at No. 17 Miami (FL) - After a disappointing loss in Blacksburg, I'm expecting Miami to come out and beat the Sooners at home.

9:15 PM ET Washington State at No. 16 Oregon - Every crushing win Oregon has from here on out only gives that much more cred to the Broncos from Boise... imagine if they won the PAC-10.
